Shot Types & Shot Angles

Shot Types:


A shot type is composed of a series frames that are shot interpreted from the moment the camera turns on. Camera shots are important because by combing different shot types the film director can emphasize specific moods and emotions in the scene.


Shot Angles:

Different types of shot angles can describe specific moods and emotions. For example, Eye Level / High Angle are shots created from the view of a human eye, other words shows the persons point of view. A low angle / Dutch angle shows contrast of looking up at the person from a position that is low.

Summary


We learnt different camera angles and different techniques, I mostly liked the acting part since that was for me the fun part.
